Nobody under 35 cares about WVU unless they grew up a VT fan or were local

We never played WVU in any sport when I was an undergrad, and the only times we've played them since were during the JJ years in basketball and that time in 2017 which was fine.

I just don't view them as a major rival, I'd much rather beat UVa, Miami, UNC, etc then pick up a win against WV.

As one of the majority of VT grads who aren't from the border, my interactions with WVU fans are few and far inbetween. Especially given the difference in academics between the school and career paths, while I run into Hoos and Tar Heels daily at work I've never come across a Mountaineer.
